Understanding the Process:

At Mercedes-Benz our goal is “The Best or Nothing”, and we hope we have lived up to expectations. To help you best understand your options and responsibilities during the lease return process, feel free to give us a call or email us.

Returning your vehicle

Nine months prior to your expected Lease Vehicle Return Date, Mercedes Benz will mail you an information package. Inside, you will find any and all information related to your lease including reviewing the lease return process, offers, and even a First Class Condition Card. 

Three months prior to your expected lease vehicle return date, you will be contacted to set up a third-party vehicle pre-inspection completely complimentary. It is recommended that you have your vehicle pre-inspection already completed between 40 and 90 days prior to your return date to ensure enough time for maintenance or repairs if it is needed. This third-party vehicle inspection can be set up at your home, local Mercedes-Benz dealership, or your workplace. This inspection aims to eliminate any surprises once you are ready to return your vehicle. 

You will not be able to make any repairs once you return the vehicle to us. If repairs done by a third party do not meet our standards, there may be unexpected charges; therefore, it is always advised to get the repairs done at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to ensure the best quality.

Review Vehicle Pre-Inspection

Should you have any questions or concerns in regard to your vehicle pre-inspection please give us a call.

Returning Your Vehicle 

Upon the lease return of your Mercedes-Benz vehicle, you will be provided with a Return Receipt. In most cases with lease returns, you will also be provided with Summary of Your Vehicle Condition, and a final Lease End Statement. 

If you were not able to have your vehicle pre-inspection completed ahead of time, both the Condition Summary and Lease-End Statement will not yet be available until a final third-party inspection is finished in order to successfully determine your wear and tear and final kilometers. Should this occur, you will receive your Lease-End Statement directly to you in the mail, detailing any charged or fees accrued.

First Class Condition Card

How does the First Class Condition Card work? Place this fancy card over an exterior or interior blemish, generally speaking, if the damage (thus caused by a single event) cannot be seen with the card over it then repair or replacement costs may not be required. This does not apply to some interior blemishes and/or glass damages neither burn holes nor windshield chips or cracks. Please note that this card is used for estimation purposes solely, it does not replace the inspection.

Why must I need a maintenance plan for my Mercedes-Benz?

At Mercedes-Benz, this plan was specifically designed to completely maximize the service life of your vehicle’s components and systems for optimum performance. Providing you with the value promised, and saving you up to 30% savings versus purchasing maintenance as you go. This way, Mercedes-Benz provides you with a convenient way to service your vehicle without the worry of having to pay later on avoiding any unwanted surprises. Maintaining your scheduled services helps keep your warranty valid as well. 

Why choose to purchase a maintenance plan if I am leasing?

Even whilst leasing your vehicle, you are ultimately responsible in the meantime for all required maintenance and repairs as described by the terms of the leasing agreement. Should you choose to purchase a Prepaid Maintenance plan while leasing, you may also receive an increase in the residual value of your vehicle. This can provide you with additional savings of up to 20% when Prepaid Maintenance is purchased along with matching terms as a part of your leasing contract. 

High Mileage Awards?

The High Mileage Award program has been successfully developed to recognize and reward vehicle durability and ultimately brand loyalty. This award is available to any Mercedes-Benz vehicle owners who have successfully surpassed the 250,000 KM the 500,000 KM or 1,000,000km milestone(s).  

Should you feel that you qualify for this prestige award, please contact us to fill out an application. Owners must then take their vehicles to a Mercedes-Benz authorized dealer for verification of your odometer reading. After all the specifications have been met, owners should expect to receive their grille badge along with a High Mileage Award certificate in about 4-6 weeks.

Prepaid Maintenance?

Prepaid Maintenance should leave you with further peace of mind. Leaving you with no worries, as your vehicle’s factory scheduled maintenance is followed. This will keep with its warranty getting all the work done by factory-trained technicians at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership in Canada, thus using the latest diagnostic tools and specific GenuineParts.

The executive car allowance program is specially designed for professionals who receive a fixed monthly car allowance. The association program is applied in addition to existing special offers, which makes these offers so exclusive with added incentives to association members.
